@Andrew Camarata Awesome videos! You should do a 15 min condensed video of your garage build. Maybe explain the step for 30 sec then a sped up video of that part going together then the next step etc. I'd love to share it with friends and family but I know they wont sit through hours like I have. You and I think the same difference is you did it! Congrats!

46:12 u said the inside would get soaked inside, how did it why wouldn’t it just pour off the top?! Were there cracks on the concrete roof?
Andrew Camarata

I see now why you did not paint the roof. When the nuke lands directly on the roof you wont have the hassle of repainting it afterwards. ;-) Just give you a blast cleaning.

Andrew, Have you considered numbering each video in chronological order? I know it would not really matter when it comes to a culvert replacement job but on the castle roof completion it would. When they are just by name it is hard to tell which on is next. Just a thought...
Ryan Johnson

There does not seem to be any way to determine what came first, mowing ther island, undercoat vehicles, Levi party, or paint the roof.

Levi needs an elevator at his age. Andrew if people got trucks that lasted forever manufacturers would go out of business eventually. Plus if they're to heavy they will do gallons to the mile instead of miles to the gallon.

Tim from Canada here is my comment to your question why did you not make cars trucks automotive parts and various other stuff to last for years is because they want you to go out and buy brand new stuff for example if you made a car or a truck in the morning that lasted 100 years there is no money in that the money is in repairs the more money and they can . Have you go in and spend on it the crap you are you gonna make. The materials why would you make a car or a truck that lasts 100 years when you can make a car or a truck that lasts five or six years and falls apart every month because they want you to spend the money this is why everything is running on the computer now in your cars in your trucks everything is computer operated so it takes them 10 times longer... to figure out what is wrong with it and have your vehicles in the garage is for a weeks. These are my views this is what I see

Man, that roof must cost you an actual FORTUNE !! Geeez, the material, the necessary equipment, the work force... I'm in awe !!
PS The toughness and rigidity of the whle thing is unquestionnable. But, still, why ? Why all that heavy work and costs ?
With modern wood trusses and beams, you'd ended up with same toughness at a much much lower costs, no ?
**I ask NOT to argue or nag, just curious.**
PS2 : your welds are top notch. Where did you learn that ? On your own ?
*You truly are very taented, young man ! 👍

I know i under bit the specification of o.35 wire but its based of bare minimum standards with human error is why I said 25k
mr. Hoole
mr. Hoole - 3 måneder siden
O.35 wire in perfect conditions can hold 25k pounds per square inch and 0.40 or 0.45 wire hold and tensile strength are higher in perfect condition when welding 2 metals together with wire feed you are basically stitching 2 metals with a 3rd metal. Metal bolts always have a gap moisture can protrude into and all the structural weight is relied on those bolts so in hindsight joining three Metals together that have zero Gap in any air rated and elements available construction style like this its way better to weld it together.
