That second car was a Lincoln Zephyr from the 30's . In decent condition, they can sell for big bucks. Believe it or not, there were still some parts on that car worth saving.

As I have said before, don't waste. I have seen you crush and throw away parts that others would be
desperate for and willing to even pay to get. Things useable for restoration of Obsolescent stuff, and even
applicable to late items, or newly created Ideas. I have at times noted some of these stemming from
your own imagining.

I know this jobsite I looked at it in like 2016 or 2017. It was to far and to small for me coming out of Gilboa. I was doing a boiler install a few places down and a woman stopped because she seen my truck said excavation on the side of it. I do mostly hvac now but was into excavation and never removed it from my service truck. It's funny I just ran across this video.

Andrew, buddy!
I don't think that there is any garbage out there. Not by the proper definition of garbage.
I am 73 (born in '47) and I recall the first garbage disposals being put into kitchen sinks. Before that, it was a little, 1/4 pan shaped, plastic receptacle in the corner of the kitchen sink. It was periodically emptied. It was usually emptied into a few layers of newspaper. Then wrapped and taken out to the "garbage paid" on the back porch. It was put on the curb on trash day or on a separate day called "garbage day" and picked up by the garbage truck on whatever day was specified.
I was no older than 7 when we got the garbage disposal and my grandfather installed it. It was monumental like getting a VCR. No more "taking out the garbage".
What you commonly call garbage may not be garbage but merely trash.
Your friend and admirer,

The hardest thing for me on cleaning up demo jobs is all the little pieces of debris that’s ALWAYS left over, it’s virtually impossible to do with any type of machine! It’s usually NEVER in the budget but putting 4-5in of fresh dirt over the area looks best and helps keep the water puddling down also. Obviously they were trying to sell the property (as Andrew said) and they didn’t want to spend much on cleaning up the mess! Nice work bro Andrew👍🏼

That's the same thing agency mandated all gas cans be "Spill proof", then the resulting gas cans spilled 25% of the fuel on the ground. That is still a disaster. Plus they have ruined the great diesel engine which keeps our country running. When I am president, failed programs like that will be handled accordingly.

Andrew is a legend, the amount of work involved splitting up loads is time consuming & expensive, i found a tire recycle place that old tires for $2 ea & $4 ea in a rim, at the tip it's $30 ea & $35 in the rim, you gotta shop around & the eco warriors in Govt don't care about you having to travel to different dump sites to suit there needs..& who pays in the end it's you the consumer & that's why they charge so's time plus tip fees & equipment on site to do the job.

Andrew, I've done a bunch of building demo's and I always have tiny pieces of debris left in the dirt. We end up spending hours picking through the mud to get the debris. The only alternative I can think of is to remove the top 1"-2" and bring in new dirt for the customer. What do you do?
Andrew Camarata
Andrew Camarata - 7 måneder siden
Here are some tips: Try to keep everything in one spot. Load as much of the material into the dumpster before touching any dirt. Use a bucket with no teeth to scrape the ground clean (you are only dealing with a small amount of material at this point). Usually I can get the ground clean without throwing out much dirt. If you have to throw out dirt, do it, but dirt can get heavy quick for paying dumpster fees by weight. On some sites, maybe take away the top layer of dirt, and burry it somewhere else. Or add a fresh load of dirt/gravel over top.
